Talk moves are purposeful teacher prompts and facilitation strategies that promote student-to-student interaction, clarify thinking, and elevate mathematical discourse. In this session, participants will examine and practice talk moves aligned to the P³ Mathematics Framework to strengthen academic discourse, position students as mathematical thinkers, and support sensemaking through shared reasoning and justification.
