Summer 2026 Secondary Mathematics Conference

In this 85‑minute session, teachers will learn how intentional active monitoring can guide purposeful small-group instruction in math. Participants will practice identifying real-time student thinking, determining why to pull specific groups, and planning targeted next steps. The focus is on prioritizing students based on evidence rather than simply identifying who is struggling, ensuring instruction is responsive and efficient. Aligned with the P³ Math Framework, the session emphasizes using ongoing monitoring and feedback to support students’ productive struggle and adjust instruction effectively.
